沖縄「本土復帰から４１年迎えたけど、祝賀ムードじゃないよ。」




沖縄県は１５日、１９７２年５月１５日の本土復帰から４１年を迎える。県民には今なお在日米軍専用施設の７４％が集中する過重な基地負担や日本政府への不満が募っており、祝賀ムードはほとんどない。

　普天間飛行場（宜野湾市）の名護市辺野古移設に向けた政府の埋め立て申請（３月２２日）▽尖閣周辺の漁場を巡り台湾側に譲歩した日台漁業協定合意（４月１０日）▽政府の主権回復記念式典（４月２８日）▽米海兵隊垂直離着陸輸送機オスプレイの今夏の追加配備で日米両政府が合意（４月３０日）－－など、沖縄の主張に反する出来事が続いた。その反発は自民党県議でさえ「政府への強い逆風が沖縄で吹いている」と言うほどだ。

　また、米軍人・軍属の事件事故も絶えず、日米地位協定の改定要求も依然根強い。一方、県民総所得に占める基地関係収入は本土復帰の７２年度の１５．５％から１０年度は５．３％に低下している。那覇市の新都心地区など、返還地の土地利用の成功例から、基地返還を求める声は年々強まっている。

　１５日には労組で構成する沖縄平和運動センターなどが那覇市で集会やデモ行進を実施し、１９日には宜野湾市で「５・１５平和とくらしを守る県民大会」を開く。基地問題に加えて参院選で争点化しそうな憲法改正についても反対を打ち出す。
