９人が死亡した中央自動車道・笹子トンネルの崩落事故で、５人の遺族が、トンネルを管理する「中日本高速道路」などを相手取り、数億円の損害賠償を求める訴えを横浜地裁に起こした。
訴えを起こしたのは去年１２月、山梨県の中央自動車道・笹子トンネルが崩落した事故で、ワゴン車に乗っていて死亡した５人の遺族。代理人によると、中日本高速道路と点検作業を行う子会社「中日本ハイウェイ・エンジニアリング東京」が安全管理を怠っていたのは明らかだとして数億円の損害賠償を求めている。
提訴する遺族（松本玲さんの父・邦夫さん）「インフラの老朽化は（今後も）山ほど出てくる可能性がある。だから責任はここで明らかにしておかないと、今後事故が起きたりしても曖昧にされてしまう可能性が非常に高いのではないか」
